Upcoming Event Info

Below is a list for 2012 for both Downtown sponsored events and events in the downtown through other organizations that the association may be participating in.

You will find information reflecting various stages of development along with sign-up sheets and contact information for events.  The information will change as the process evolves for each event, so please check this page often and use as a resource for your marketing plans.

Volunteers are one of our most valuable assets.  If you would like to volunteer to help with any of these projects, please contact Barb Frederick, Exec. Director of PADA at 457-9614 or email director@portangelesdowntown.com   You do not need to be a downtown business or a member of PADA to get involved, we always have the need for helping hands and guarantee that you'll have some fun along the way.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT--May 17

Yes, I know it’s not until May 17th, but the event chairs, Tessa and Marilyn at Cottage Queen want you to be thinking about it now and how you can invite women to unleash their inner celebrity and spend a night in Hollywood. I’ve heard there will be an appearance by the Rat Pack and lots of paparazzi. There are 4 sponsorships available for $150 each. The sponsor businesses are the ONLY locations where swag bags will be sold that evening, and the Host Sponsors receive their logo on all 200 bags, posters, all advertising, including print, web and radio. As you go to buying shows find out if your Reps have samples you can obtain for the swag bags.

Questions? Call Tessa or Marilyn at 452-8878.

This year’s sponsors are Odyssey Bookshop, Twisted Mischief, Heidi’s Hair Studio and Cabled Fiber Arts. Stay tuned for more fun ways to participate as Girls Night Out Goes Hollywood.
